The Anna Initiative

For over 200 years, the Conservatorio Vincenzo Bugeja (CVB) has stood as a cornerstone of support and empowerment for vulnerable young women and children. Through a rich history of transformative initiatives, CVB has provided education, practical skills, and emotional guidance to those in need. From pioneering career-focused programmes to safeguarding its residents during World War II, CVB has continually adapted to meet the challenges of each era.

In continuing this mission today, we recognise the importance of connecting with the next generation. With this in mind, the Board of Trustees has made a pivotal decision to launch The Anna Initiative – a new programme dedicated to empowering young girls with the tools they need to thrive. Through mentorship and shared wisdom, The Anna Initiative will focus on four key pillars:
- Emotional Literacy
- Financial Literacy
- Basic Practical Skills
- Fostering Creativity
By equipping young women with essential knowledge and skills, we are not only shaping their futures but also laying a strong foundation for generations to come. Real change happens when knowledge is shared, skills are passed on, and doors to new opportunities are opened.
